Cancellation Policy

Cancellations may be made 90 days before the retreat date with a cancellation fee of $100. Refunds cannot be given for cancellations made less than 90 days before the retreat date for any reason. I will, however, try to resell your spot. If that is successful, I will reimburse you, less a $150 cancellation fee.

Covid-19 Liability Release Waiver

Chicks with Sticks, LLC (the “Organization”) adheres to compliance with the CDC (Center for Disease Control) and WHO (World Health Organization), in their recommendations. In consideration of my participation in the foregoing, the undersigned acknowledge and agree to the following:

*I have not experienced symptoms of fever, fatigue, difficulty in breathing, dry cough, or exhibiting any other symptoms relating to Covid-19 or any communicable disease within 10 days prior to the beginning of the retreat.

*Neither I nor any member(s) of my household has been diagnosed with the Covid-19 virus within 10 days prior to the beginning of the retreat. If this occurs, I agree to provide two negative Covid test results before attending the retreat.

Following the statements above, I hereby declare the following:

*I am fully and personally responsible for my own safety and actions while participating and I recognize that I may be at risk of contracting Covid-19.

*With full knowledge of the risks involved, I hereby release, waive, and discharge the Organization, its board, officers, independent contractors, affiliates, employees, representatives, successors, and assigns from any and all liabilities, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever, directly or indirectly arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or death, that may be sustained by me related to Covid-19 while participating in any activity while in, on, or around the premises or while using the facilities that may lead to unintentional exposure or harm due to Covid-19.

*I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Organization from and against any and all costs, expenses, damages, lawsuits, and/or liabilities or claims arising, whether directly or indirectly, from or related to any and all claims made by or against any of the released party due to injury, loss, or death from or related to Covid-19.

Please understand that there are shared spaces during the event for lodging, dining, and participating in the project. There may be limited outdoor activities due to colder weather.

By registering for this retreat, I acknowledge that the property includes stairs, uneven walking areas, and bathrooms with both walk-in and step-in tub showers. Weather conditions may also create risks such as ice, snow, rain, mud, or other slippery surfaces. I understand that I am responsible for choosing accommodations that best meet my needs and for taking care while moving around the retreat space.
I agree that I am participating in this retreat voluntarily and assume full responsibility for my own health and safety, including any risks related to the property or weather conditions. I release Chicks with Sticks Knit and its organizers from liability for any injury, accident, or health issue that may arise during my participation.
